How Mr.Vino Lugano collects, uses, and protects your personal data, in compliance with Swiss law.

Your trust is important to us. This policy explains transparently what personal data we process when you visit our site or make a purchase in our online Enoteca, the purposes for doing so, and the rights you can exercise.
Processing takes place in compliance with the Swiss Federal Data Protection Act (FADP) and its ordinance (FADPO). For customers residing in the European Union, the EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) may also apply.

2 What data we collect
Depending on how you use our site, we may process the following categories of personal data:

3 Purposes and legal basis
We process your data for the following purposes:
- Contract execution — manage orders, payments, deliveries, returns, and customer support;
- Legal obligations — comply with accounting, tax, and wine and alcohol trade obligations (including age verification);
- Legitimate interest — ensure site security, prevent abuse and fraud, improve our offer;
- Consent — send you commercial communications and newsletters, when you have subscribed. Consent can be revoked at any time.
4 Cookies and analytics tools
Our site uses cookies and similar technologies. Technical cookies are necessary for the site to function (e.g., for the cart and session) and do not require consent. Any analytics or marketing cookies are activated only with your consent, which you can give or refuse via the cookie banner and modify at any time in your browser settings.
5 Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal data. We communicate it only to subjects who help us provide our services, to the strictly necessary extent and with adequate guarantees:

7 How long we keep data
We keep personal data only for the time necessary for the purposes for which they were collected and to comply with legal obligations. In particular, accounting documents and invoices are kept for 10 years, as required by Swiss law. Data processed based on consent is deleted upon revocation of consent, subject to different retention obligations.
8 Data security
We adopt adequate technical and organizational measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse, including encrypted transmission (SSL/TLS) and restricted access to data. No system is 100% secure, however; we are committed to keeping our measures updated.
9 Your rights
As a data subject, you have the right to:
- access: know if and what data we process and obtain a copy;
- rectification: have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected;
- erasure: request deletion of data, within the limits of legal obligations;
- objection: object to certain processing and revoke consent at any time;
- portability: receive the data you provided in a common format.

10 Minors
Our online Enoteca is intended exclusively for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from minors under 18 for the purpose of selling alcohol. The sale of wine is reserved for persons over 18.
11 Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to adapt to legal or organizational changes. The version published on this site is always the one in force. We invite you to consult it periodically.
