Farouche, Valle d'Aosta Rouge from the TAEMA winery, located in the historic center of Aosta, made from a blend of native Valle d'Aosta grapes: Petit Rouge, Cornalin, Vien de Nus, and a touch of Gamay. A wine of personality and subtle exuberance, a son of the territory and of those who have best expressed its identity; aromas of currant and small red forest fruits, violet, cherry, and wet earth, with a stony and saline breath accompanying its long finish. Excellent throughout the meal, with flavorful pasta dishes, white and red meats, and medium-aged cheeses; serve at 16-18°C.
